I Had To Get Papers To Be With My Love

I'm Danna- a Filipina. Jason and i met each other at asianeuro.com. The first time we met, i wasn't really interested at him... i thought he's just making fun of me! here he is, meeting me at the website for the first time and asking me if i will marry him. Now who would believe that? he ask for my number and after a million times of trying to call me, he finally got through the network and talk to me. at first, i didn't know what to say to him... I'm shock and I'm not very good in English. we talk about normal things, he and i taking turns at being speechless. after that, he kept texting me... its 4:00 pm in the Philippines which means its 3:00am here and i was thinking, does this man ever go to sleep???? well, all things went so good. we keep texting and calling each other even though Jason is going broke from spending all his salary for the telephone bills. i tell him to stop but he says I'm more important than money. i think that's sweet... so as time goes by, we decided to get married. his family is shocked coz I'm his very first girlfriend- a million miles away from him and we haven't even met each other. but my love is stubborn and his family cant do anything about it. he wants to see me. so from an easy job of managing an oncology center he decided to do the backbreaking job of doing drywalls. and after a few months, he saved enough to come to the Philippines and see me. it was a nerve shocking day for me. we decided to meet in manila which is at the upper part of our country and i have to ride a plane for an hour. this might sound funny, but i never rode an airplane before and I'm traveling alone. when i got to manila, i have to transfer to a different airport. its scary coz manila is known to be a place where everybody cheats everybody especially people coming from the provinces. well, I'm glad that i survived to the international airport except that i went to the departure area when i have to wait at the arrival area. but after a long walk, i got to the right place. i got there at 1:00pm coz that is the last flight i can get from our place to manila. Jason's plane is landing atn 10:00pm. since the bombings in manila by the terrorist people are not allowed to get inside the airport itself (except people with money). so i stayed outside where there is a tent for the common people. i was scared coz anytime somebody would just drop a bomb and I'm going to be one of the victims. for all those hours that im waiting i kept shivering, from fear and excitement. time is so slow. I see people coming and going. i waited until its 10:00pm. then the announcement came, his plane is landing. i could feel butterflies inside my stomach. i went to the entrance where hundreds of people wait for there love ones. where is Jason? I only saw him on the web cam and i don't know if i would notice him immediately. its about 12:00am now and no Jason came. i tried asking people who resembled him. just when i was about to cry i saw him. the tallest and biggest guy right across me. i asked the guard if i can come inside and meet him. he pitied me and so there I was, running to him. he didn't see me and decided he would come to the other end of the street. we met at the center of the street and i called him. i know its him. my heart tells me its him. he looked at me and without words, hugged me and kissed me. I'm so relieved i just hugged him back until the cars started beeping at us and we have to move. we took advantage of the time he is here and went to the embassy to start processing my fiancée visa so i can come to US. and after 10 days, he went home. him with the papers and me with my tears. i never thought i would cry so much my heart feels like somebody is squeezing it tight. it took so long to process the papers and Jason-not very patient- did crazy things just to get me here. he calls the embassy always, and would you believe it- wrote to oprah winfrey asking for her help to get me here. well, after 9 months, i finally got a schedule for an interview at the embassy and got here a month after. I'm here in Louisiana for about two months now, preparing for the wedding. were going to get married on sept. 2. we don't have much money coz jason still has to pay his phone bills which is a thousand a month (calls to the Phil. is expensive). we don't have a wedding ring yet and were still saving for it. he has a low pay working at a restaurant at night while going to school at daytime. but were happy and in love.
