A Sleek Black Ride

Last night I had the best time. I can't remember when I got home, but it was later than my usual drop-off. I was privy to intimate conversation, unexpected stops and the most hospitable group of friends I've had the pleasure of touring with. I was disappointed when it ended, but hopeful the experience would someday repeat itself. Would you like to hear about it? I thought so. I was a limousine for a night on the town, and it was some night.

I'm not like other limos. I'm longer and sleeker. I'm always on time, always in mint condition and always one for attention. The group I picked up at eight o'clock last night was my first in a week, so I was ready for adventure. I was scheduled for six hours, standard limousine service time. Three couples entered my doors and immediately started in on the bar. My driver was instructed to head down to Pacific Coast Highway. The sun was just about down but perhaps they could catch the last rays of light glistening on the Pacific.

It was obvious the couples knew each other well. They were comfortable with one another and joking about this and that. One of the women mentioned this was her first time in a limo. I love virgins. They're so easy to please. I usually get the uptight corporate businessman who could care less about my impeccable interior but is quick to complain about traffic, something I have no control over. The cocktails were flowing as we made our way through the canyon to the beach. There was a request for music and I happily obliged. I have an awesome sound system that I like to show off.

When we got to the coast I pulled over so my occupants could take in the smell of the sea. The cool air rushed inside me as they opened the doors and I welcomed the breath of fresh air. As a limo rental, I must do as instructed and lucky for me, these rendezvous are a great ride. The group reentered and sent me on my way to a beach side restaurant.

I parked next to two other limo rentals in the parking lot and settled in for a rest. Unfortunately, the limo driver to my left caught the eye of my driver and they decided to engage in a little back seat hanky panky. I guess that's one of the perks of piloting such a fine vehicle as myself. I'd like to think my appearance lends itself to the overall appeal of my driver. And do I ever get a thank you?

When dinner was over I was back in business and headed for a downtown nightclub. I have supplied limo service for many clients but this young group was something special. They were so full of life and tempted each other, baited each other and had a true camaraderie. I wondered if they were all married or just dating. They had definitely known each other for a while. The ease with which they spoke to each other was fun to listen to.

It took about 40 minutes to get to our next destination and once again I was left to my own devices. Music escaped from the club every time the door was opened. I welcomed the noise, I mean sound, even though it wasn't my cup of tea. As I mentioned before, I'm usually the limo rental for business clients so this was a treat. The view outside the club wasn't bad either. A bevy of beauties was waiting to get inside. I'd gladly let them enter me. I'd love to hear what they have to say. I'm open to any and all conversation.

With my shampooed carpet, waxed interior and mood lighting, who wouldn't want to take a spin with me? As far as limousine services go, I'm the top of the line. My driver quickly exited his door to open my side entrance as the limo party I was carrying made their way back inside. Their clothes were disheveled, a bit clingy with sweat and they smelled of alcohol. Just call me by my other name, designated driver.

While making my way back to the pick up site, my engine revved as lips locked and legs intertwined in the back seats. The partition that separates front from back was down, as it had been the whole evening, and my driver accelerated with speed when certain sounds were made. A limo seems to bring out the free spirit in people, reducing their inhibitions and creating a romantic environment no matter how many people are involved.

The six hours was just about up and I was sorry to see it end. The night on the town had been a refreshing change of pace for me and I'd been delighted with the company. While the night was coming to an end for me, it seemed it would continue for my ride. Not in this limousine, but somewhere else.
