A Great Start or Not a Great Start, That Is The Question

I was a soloist for many weddings, but the one I remember best was a very simple wedding. The bride carried three yellow long stemmed roses. As she walked down the aisle, the groom watched her intently. She came to the front, and instead of rushing down to get her, he took his time, kind of looked her over, and then with a smile and a nod that said "You'll do just fine", he gently took her by the hand and led her to the alter. The service was smooth and easy. There was no rush, no fumbles, and no agitation. After a long and tender kiss, the married couple started down the aisle, but stopped by the parents' pews. The bride gave her mother one of her roses and kissed her. She and gave one to his mother and kissed her. Then the bride and groom casually exited the sanctuary taking time to greet special guests along the way. They appeared to be off to a great start. Contrast that with another wedding: It was extremely hot. The huge church was filled with guests, and the air was thick. As the ceremony progressed, the Best Man passed out. A couple of guys dragged him off ot the side and put him in a chair. When the groom noticed that his Best Man had passed out, the groom passed out. Instead of trying to help him the bride just glared at him lying at her feet as if to say, "You S-O-B! Look what you have done to my wedding!!" Definitely NOT a great start.
