A Funeral Wedding

I am a band leader and have played for many weddings that went wrong, but the most bazaar planned wedding took place about 6 years ago in Carefree, AZ at a venue called Crazy Ed's. My band the Dixie ACES were asked to dress in mourning coats and top hats. We were not sure what we were in for but were told that the bride and groom in their late 30's were going to be laying to rest the free single lives. There is a little chapel on the hill where the bride was getting ready. They had requested the funeral march to bring her down the path to a little bridge over the little brook. She was dressed in black along with her brides maids. Old fashioned lace. Then 4 Paul bearers came carrying the groom in inside a body bag. The bride unzipped the bag and the groom sat up. The minister, Dressed as Big Bird from Sesame Street performed a very unorthodox sermon. As soon as he pronounced them man and wife, the band, went into St. Go Marching In and we led the wedding party up and back the street of this little frontier village. We continued the reception with tomb stone center pieces and tomb stone wedding cakes. They danced until the stroke of midnight.
